Director of Accounting
Director of Corporate Accounting will oversee the general accounting operations for multiple entities across the United States. Will be responsible for month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, management of the audit, assisting with the conversion to SAP for corporate accounting. Will also lead the establishment of policies, procedures and internal controls. This position will oversee several direct reports and will report to the Corporate Controller.
Candidate needs to be system savvy with heavy Excel and SAP experience. Ideal candidate will have at least 8-10 years of total work experience including 4-5 years of operational accounting experience with organizations in the $500M-$1B range, and 4-5 years public accounting (Big 4) experience. The candidate must work well in a fast paced environment, work independently, be inquisitive and a problem solver, and be interested in setting up a solid foundation of infrastructure and policies and procedures to support future growth.
ASPYRE has partnered with a REIT that is looking for a strong VP Finance or CFO to join their team. This growing organization is seeking a strategic finance professional that has experience working with and presenting to investors and analysts. Prior IPO/road show experience preferred. Will be responsible for building and managing corporate FP&A function after IPO. Will also manage treasury, banking and debt function for the company.
Manager, Research Accounting
Manager, Research Accounting will provide leadership and management of the department day-to-day operations. This individual will assist with oversight and training of staff to promote efficiency and productivity within the department. In this role, the Manager will oversee financial and compliance management of sponsored research projects and internal Institute funding. This candidate will be responsible for the integrity of financial data entered into the accounting system (i.e. account set-ups and budget entries) and would have signing authority on certain department aspects (i.e. invoices, journal entries, financial reports, progress reports). This individual will develop and maintain relationships providing quality customer service support to faculty, administration and agency sponsors. Other responsibilities include a lead role in documenting best practices within the department and providing updates and recommendations to improve internal controls and processes. The Manager may also have a small senior level portfolio.
ASPYRE is exclusively partnering with a growing, pre-IPO biotech company as they look to expand their Accounting team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a range of general accounting tasks, including: general ledger accounting, A/P oversight, account reconciliations, variance analysis, assistance with financial statement preparation, period end close, adherence to and implementation of internal controls and general accounting support.
